Like many Black women, I have chemically processed my hair for most of my life. I used to love the way hair felt after a 'fresh perm', which lasted until it was time for a touch-up. When I became pregnant and gave birth to my son, processing my hair was not an option. So, I went the braid and weave route. I, and especially my husband, became increasingly frustated with this look for a variety of reasons. I decided to wear my hair natural. A decision that excited and scared me at the same time.
1. Eh? Where WE come from, gray is spelled with an A.
ReplyDelete2. Yeah right! Baby's hair in need of sheen? You all ran out of vaseline? :)
Well, grey is the colour I saw in my Canadian mirror. :)
ReplyDeleteActually, his hair works best with Dax. Basically, Vaseline with fragrance and green colour.
